Orgami Ride November 11/11/2006

The November Origami Ride on Saturday 11th November will start from Derby Railway Station(Railway Terrace, Derby DE1 2RY)

All riders and bikes welcome on this slow and friendly ride, a good chance for you to learn more about the many folding bikes available to buy now

November 11th- The November Origami Ride on Saturday 11th November will start from Derby Railway Station(Railway Terrace, Derby DE1 2RY) car park (on the left as you exit the station) by platform 1 exit and bike racks. NB this is not a public car park. Please refer to the Derby Council parking information website and a pdf map showing the location and cost of the car parks in the area. Breakfast can be purchased at the “Uppercrust Café” in the station foyer.

We will leave at 11.02 (following a 2 minute silence) and will follow the traffic free sustrans route 6 (Cloud Trail) heading south out of Derby towards the village of Worthington. The total distance will be dependant on both the group and weather but will be no more than 30 miles.
Lunch will be at a public house near Worthington.

It is planned to return to Derby before dusk, where riders will be free bid farewell in the “Brunswick Inn – A True Ale House and Brewery” which serves coffee snacks and of course real ale.

This ride is suitable for Trikes with only 2 barriers along the route, which will be easy for the group to overcome.
